I am on a laptop-HP OMEN Notebook - 15-5268nr,

WINDOWS 10 (already installed)

Processor:          Intel® Core™ i7-4720HQ CPU @ 2.60Hz     2.60GHz

Installed (RAM): 16.0 GB

System type:       64-bit OS, x64-based processor

All updates are current as of December 10, 2016

When I have an HDMI cable hooked into the laptop and the television, I receive the following error when I go to: Systems>Settings>Display>Detect:

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Windows\ImmersiveControlPanel\SystemSettings.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Please contact the application's support team for more information

I use the HDMI to project my display on to the television screen.  I have it plugged in and when I enter that particular HDMI input port as the source, I can not see the screen display and also my laptop display is black.

The last time this worked with no errors was December 8, 2016.

The last thing I did that may cause errors was, I tried to download pictures from iCloud Photos.

I have MBAM installed and the last Scan was performed today, December 11, 2016 about 10:00 a.m. Central Time.

There were a couple of PUPs that I deleted.

Please let me know if you need anything else in order to help me locate and resolve the problem.

Thank you for your help.
