Received a message stating I should introduce myself. Hello I am Me and you are you-all. Bye. .....Oh, guess I should put in more than that huh? I was a chef who for lack of a back of the house system for costings, inventory control etc. began delving into Excel's program-ability back in the early 90's. Actually started out in the mid to late 80's with a Tandy SX 1000 and their deskmate plus app and their worksheet app but it wasn't programmable so later as the need arose I began teaching myself VBA using Excel 5.0's VBA for applications. I had a great program and had bought the Visual Basic Studio 4.0 to begin to make it into a stand alone and I got taken down by a life threatening illness that decimated me. When I finally got back into writing code, I had found that Microsoft had changed all the object references, and platforms changed too fast for me to get caught back up on it. And as my employment hrs had tremendously increased, I just had to walk away from the project. I had also did a bit of dabbling in 2d game writing and tried to turn it into 3d but lacked the math skills for matrices. I eventually gained the math skills but that kind of bit blting API call type of graphic stuff isn't done anymore. So it has been a decade or so since I was into using the computer for anything other than researching projects online, some shopping online, and using ms word and excel for writing adjusting recipes - and using my drawing app for my building projects (it only runs on Vista 32).  So that is me, and I am using Vista 32 bit on a self built quad core 2.something Ghz processor with about 2gig mem on a 500 gig HD that I'm only using approx 2.5 gig for vista and I plan on adding my win 7 ultimate on to it for a dual boot, sometime in the future.  I am  Comptia A+ and Network+ certified but that was a looooong time ago.

It has been said that time heals all wounds. I don't agree. The wounds remain. Time - the mind, protecting its sanity - covers them with some scar tissue and the pain lessens, but it is never gone. Rose Kennedy
