Some websites, more than others, seem to be heavy with popup ads and videos that load and play automatically. is there a way to control this? It would be nice not to have resources hogged by unwanted ads and videos.

Thanks.

Hi,

Of course there is! You can use a browser extension such as AdBlock Plus or uBlock Origin to block ads. (Once you install one, you should consider adding/enabling Fanboy's Annoyances List, which will get rid of even more unwanted things.)
