So, my computer gets stuck at the spinning circle on boot. Nothing else happens.

I've tried doing a system restore via USB, but is unable to because it has some issue with the hard drive. It told me to run chkdsk c: /r. I did and it finished in about an hour. On the first stage, it said it deleted some corrupt thing and fixed windows files.

Still didn't boot.

I've tried doing the reset, keeping my files and it just says there was an error.

The last thing I've done on my computer was run CCleaner because it said I had 25 gigs to remove.

They were from the old Windows install. I don't think that caused it?

Another weird thing is that the last system restore was from yesterday. (This started yesterday when I turned my computer on.)

It was from 1pm, when I wasn't home and my computer was unplugged. Did it try to start and couldn't? It usually has some power left.

I have no idea what to do. I hope it is not my HDD, since I want to keep my files. I do have a backup from November, but I've done a lot since then.

Will this work? https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/634309/unable-to-boot/

Seems to be the same problem.

Edit: above doesn't work. It can't find any Windows installs.

Edit2: I had to put this onto a USB and first backup everything I need using the file explorer. I am reinstalling Windows right now.

I am getting the C:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt error. Just a little update.

Here is the log from the file. I went to cmd from the USB recovery and opened the txt. I then saved it to another USB. I also checked and my files are still there. I probably should backup everything. I have a 1TB external disk.
