Hi there,

So my browser is infected with diffrent ad sites like 'optmz online' (pop-ups) etc.  I mainly use Chrome, and rarely Firefox. And I have this problem since c. 2 months.

I've tried with adwcleaner, and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, also tried deleting all unfamiliar programs installed on my laptop.

Would you also recommend me good advanced tool for removing installed programs, because I have the feeling that there are more installed programs, but I don't seem them all, using only Windows 7 (64) feature - Uninstall/Change programs(Control Panel).

Already refreshed the main settings of Chrome, also removed anyunwanted information in all Chrome shortcuts(the paths). Removed unknown extensions and attachments.

So, practically I am running out of ideas. :D

Thank you,

Cheers !

P.S. I hope that there is full solution of this problem, because I still need my old laptop, and for this time I cannot afford a new one.

Your version of Java is outdated and needs to be updated to take advantage of fixes that have eliminated security vulnerabilities.

You can manually check your present version and update as recommended.
https://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp

Be careful not to install malware posing as Java update!
Important read this blog.

Quoted from the page.
"In light of the recent events surrounding Java, users must seriously consider their use of Java. Do they really need it? If yes, make sure that users follow the steps we recommended and get the security update directly from the official oracle website." at:

Did you set this proxy?

Do you know why it's needed?
ProxyEnable: [.DEFAULT] => Proxy is enabled.
ProxyServer: [.DEFAULT] => http=127.0.0.1:51722;https=127.0.0.1:51722

It could be from the extension 'ProxFlow', which I use for and only youtube, because it allows me to watch banned videos in Germany or diffrent countries, where there is strong youtube policy.
If it is needed I'll delete it. But then I need to have another alternetive, if you understand me.
One more thing to add to that. Before I had ProxFlow on my browser, I had CyberGhost(program not extension for Chrome) installed, this is a VPN

When the update was over 'JAVA' uninstalled the 'ver. 8 - 77 update'
+ When it comes down to FlashPlayer, Java and officials programs like these, I always install updates from the offical site.

Would you like me to change my system language in English ?

In order to be easier for you to read.

Thanks,
Cheers!

I am very happy, that some memory was also freed in the process, and yes everything seems to be working perfectly without any problems. And I believe that the speed of my laptop is actually increased.

If anything happens, I will write to you.

Thank you very very much nasdaq !

P.S. Where can I learn how to work with 'FRST' ?   <- I want to learn how to "catch the fish", not only to be given to me. :D

P.S. Where can I learn how to work with 'FRST' ?

You must first learn about the ABC's or removing malware. Pass a training course.

These two forums are providing this service.

BleepingComputer

Or SpywareInfoForum

Good luck.
