For starters, it would help to know the exact model number of the HP printer (so that we can look up drivers, support documents, etc.).
Next: it would help to know what you have already tried -- for example, did you try to fully uninstall and reinstall the drivers/software? other fixes?
If you have a thread at another forum, it would help to have a link to that...
Next: it would help to know if the printer is still under warranty (just in case you end up needing to contact HP support)?
Next: it would (eventually) help to know how you connect the computer to the printer (local (USB), network (ethernet) or network (wifi))?
Next, just for troubleshooting purposes: are there other computers in the same household that still print to the HP without problems?
