I've only tried Spotify and Apple Music. So far both are pretty good and help me discover new music, but I do find the playlists to become redundant when I am on it every day.

Anything special about TIDAL that others don't have beyond exclusives?

FLAC of course. Spotify only has 320kbps. That is an important consideration that I should of been aware of. Spotify does not pick up any of my lossless format folders, not that I use it for a media player much, but it doesn't even support playback.

Other than my music oriented friends, I bet most people I know are not informed enough to care about uncompressed audio. Lots of them are buying into the vinyl resurgence, but that's a whole different topic.

I own two pairs of Yamaha HS80 monitors, the difference between FLAC and mp3 is quite significant to say the least.
