I was browsing on Chrome (v. 54.0.2840.99 m, on Windows 8.1 if it matters) and my space bar just stopped working when I was trying to type. I assumed it was dead so I exchanged it at the store for the same model, a Logitech K800 wireless keyboard.

But with the new one, the issue is still happening. The space bar works to highlight/unhighlight text, but it won't type spaces. When I tested it in Notepad, it highlights the File menu, but that's it.

When I press the space bar in Chrome it highlights the last menu I clicked on in the toolbar.

Not sure how I messed this one up... how can I get it to type spaces again?

Edit: It's working exactly as an Alt key, if that helps.

Glad you got the problem sorted, but for the benefit of those of us here could you perhaps tell us how you sorted it ?  Even if only a brief description, it may help somebody else.

Thanks,

Chris Cosgrove
