Just had a few hundred Malware 1 trojan and a few adware get removed using Malwarebytes... With most recent updates.

I believe one of the PUPs or the Trojan hi-jacked my settings and screwed around with the settings. I've attempted running the FARBAR programme on my windows 7 64 bit computer... But upon pressing F8 instead of my previous ''Start in Safe-Mode Options + Start Normally''. I'm instead only given access to ''Start Normally + Run Repair Programme''.

I've seen from other posts about FARBAR that at some point I need my CMD programme to run thus giving me access to NOTEPAD. However, along the options I've just mentioned above I never come across the 5 List:

Startup Repair

System Restore
Windows Complete PC Restore
Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool
Command Prompt.

I had thought running system restore would help but it restarted my computer immediately after it finished without any prompts whatsoever.

I am able to use my laptop for now but important files are on my computer. And looking for help getting FARBAR to run IN ORDER TO help get my computer back up and working as soon as I can.

Thank you all.

I got the programme working, but now the file is so large that I had to add it piece-meal to a single post... I might need to add to multiple separate posts because it is just so large that it is not saving... If there are any other ideas for how to upload this info then please let me know to guide me through what to do next.

I should be good with only a few pointers to help me out.

Thanks again guys. And BTW - the file size is [3.44 MB] - (3,611,472 bytes).

1)  Backup your stuff now.  Even if it's infected, you'll still have the backup (and can work on removing infections from the backup more easily than on an active system)

2)  Post over in the Am I Infected forum:  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/103/am-i-infected-what-do-i-do/
Please read the pinned topics at the top of the forum for instructions on how to post there.
They are the experts in repairing systems damaged from malware.

Once they're done with helping you, if the problems still exist they'll send you back here.

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

I actually have come to think that this isn't the Malware itself as I have read about the anti-virus programme causing problems for people when they re-boot in safe-mode and run a scan and ''Quarantine or Remove'' the malicious programmes.

Therefore I was hoping to discuss the situation after the malware had been removed (I have already deleted 322 Malicious Programmes). I had seen the Malwarebytes Website forum and will post there, and down below in the infected section first since ''back-up'' will take me some time anyways.

Thanks.
