Hi,

I have some VOB files I'd like to convert to MKV. For the output I'd like one video for each title on the DVD rather than just direct conversions of each of the VOB files. I've tried burning to disc and converting with MakeMKV, but it wouldn't read it for some reason. I've tried Handbrake, but it always cuts off the end of the video. Can someone please suggest some software to do what I want?

Thank you,

Joe

Hi joebeaven,

I'm not to sure what you are trying to do ? Are you using Windows ?

Have you tried VidCoder ? It is very similar to Handbrake. and i have had success with it when Handbrake has failed.

Note it is a Windows only App.

Edit There maybe some other Apps in the link below that will help

Thanks for the reply. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate. I tried using VidCoder, but it only encoded 16 minutes of the DVD. I'll work my way through the list you linked to and hopefully find something that works.

Just be careful of some of the freeware in the link as some way come with "Open Candy" or "Unwanted Toolbars".

Not to sure if this App will work for you, and i have not used it, but it appears it will remux your Vob files to MKV.
