I'm trying to setup and test an ubuntu server running a dns, ldap, and samba server. But... my friend to me I need to disable the router (in this case, virtual box's) dns so that other virutal machines in the virtual network can be verified and get their dns via the server.

Is it possible to disable the dns in virtual box so I can achieve my goal? I ask this because I'm unfortunately living at home until I find an apartment and have no control over the homes physical internet and can't practice that way.
