I was having problems with win 10 on my acer aspire 4740g.

The reset pc option didn't work, could restore to factory settings and my net couldn't properly download the win 10 iso.

I had my installer for win 7,I thought of going back to it.

And this happened during installation. It's going on right now and I'm afraid of shutting it down.

So if anyone can help ASAP, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi,

You may use method 3 for this : http://www.windowscentral.com/how-downgrade-windows-10-windows-7

You may also wipe your partition and reinstall a clean windows 7 into your PC as well.

Please advise if you need more information.

Thanks.

I would shut it off and start with these free bootable diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/initdiag.html

Looks like a problem with the hard drive to me - but could be other things.

Let us know the results of the diagnostics and we'll move on from there.

The thing ended itself and windows 7 was installed properly, I think.Thank you for the reply. I have a new problem now and I'll be making a new thread since it's different from this one.
