So I'm pretty much a total noob when it comes to computer hardware. I'm actually quite fluent when it comes to software, and can work my way around computers, but haven't learned anything so far of hardware. So lately my computer has been crashing after 15 minutes to a hour of casual use (mostly playing WoW). There always comes this annoying buzzing sound like I'm about to get a BSoD, but afterwards it starts to reboot by itself, and just gives me a big error text on a black background saying "PLEASE POWER DOWN AND CONNECT THE PCIe POWER CABLE(S) FOR THIS GRAPHICS CARD". After a while of waiting, I can boot the computer and it starts up normally, and makes it again after 15 minutes to hour of use.

GFX CARD: NVIDIa GeForce GTX 660 Ti (+ Intel HD Graphics 4000 on the other monitor

my processor is Intel Core i7-3770k @ 3,50GHz

my motherboard is ASRock Z77 Extreme4

If you need anymore information of my computer hardware, please ask for it and I will provide it.

Please help me resolve this issue :P

P.S: Didn't know where else to put this, and as it said "Crashes" I thought it'd be validated here.

Hi,

Please run Furmark to test video stress on your GPU to see if there's any fault with it : http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/

Thanks.
