Hi,
As I have an older HP Photosmart printer, I'd like to confirm that the driver available on this page is indeed compatible with any Windows 10 laptop. It would seem that way from the fact that there's an option to pick any operating system to download for, but I'd like to confirm that it actually works (since it is an old printer). Also, is it only for HP computers, or for anything else as well?

Thank you to whoever can clarify this.

The driver is for the Photosmart C4400/C4424. If this is not your model number the driver will not work. What model Photosmart do you have.

On my computer it says C4400 (see attachment), while on the printer itself it says C4480 (HP interchanges them for some reason).

If 4480 is your model number then the Windows 10 driver you want is here. Your printer is still a 4400 series. The driver version is the same one you linked to.

The driver is related to the printer.  It matters not what type of system the printer is connected to.  The driver is the interface between the printer and the system.  Once installed, the printer should function properly, no matter what system the printer is connected to...as long as Windows is installed and the printer driver is for that version of Windows.
