Could someone please tell me if this is a Windows  file/program  or part of Windows System. Google brings up various conflicting answers, ie a Trojan , Spyware , and protection program.  I did not download it as far as I'm aware. with thanks, Mermaid

Hello, appears to be a legit application that was downloaded.

uninstall from Control Panel if possible. restart.

Thanks, boopme, for reply. It's nowhere to be found in Uninstall Programs, only in registry. Bundled in with something I did download, me thinks. I Scanned the whole computer, did virus scan etc, .  Ccleaner did not  list it there either, so will look for a way to safely remove from registry.

Be sure you back up the Reg or create a restore point FIRST.
