Does windows 10 not have MMCSS?

Hello, my windows is missing the mmcss service. and all my audio is not working. is there anyway to restore it? I have manually added the mmcss.sys and mmcss.dll to the appropriate folders.


edit: got the registry line. it doesn't seem to show up in services though
