Hi! Couple of days ago, I wanted to power on my iPhone 3GS (from back in 2011). I can't power it on because the power button is broken. So, I took the charger and let it charge. The iPhone got to charge a bit, so I tried to see if I can get it to power on, using my screwdriver (I could see where the power button should go to power on the device, so I pressed that spot). It made the power button sound, but my iPhone still refused to power on. So, I plugged it back in the charger, but the iPhone had no reaction. What to do? I miss that device!

P.S: I don't wanna spend money on it no more. When it was its day, I did spend a lot on it, trust me, more than you could imagine.

My guess is that it is effectively dead, so I am not sure there is much you can do other than get a new phone (assuming it was your active phone).
