OK, I am having a grump !

What does it take to get posters to include such basic information as their OS or the make and model of their computer ?  I get fed up of having to either guess or make totally generalised replies because such basic information isn't supplied. Or topics for help on software problems where the application in question isn't even identified !

No names, no pack drill and admittedly this is a fairly extreme example but it's the one that got me going -

OK now I have your post on my regular brower.

And your regular browser is ?  It's hardly classified !

Ah, I feel much better now having got that off my chest.

Mmm Rabbit stew makes you feel all warm inside and its tasty.

Sometimes getting the info you need is like pulling teeth without anesthetic.

I need bunnies sometimes too...

Especially when users ignore my solution that I posted directly after their question... then the topic goes on for pages amid blathering and derailing interjection whilst the solution sits ignored. :ranting:

I think part of the issue is that many posters don't know their computer details, or how to find out what they are.
