For about a month now my computer has been having this issue where during fullscreen/borderless gaming my computer would black screen and send me back to the desk top. I have no idea what's going on, im about ready to chuck my 970 at a wall and buy a new card... i originally had overheating issues with the card hitting 75c but now with my new fan curve it barely goes above 60c in overwatch low settings for 144fps for a 144hz monitor.

MAIN ISSUE: Black screen crashing mid game, have to restart PC to use computer again.

PC specs: CPU: i7 2700k @ 3.50GHz

CPU Cooling Fan: CM Hyper 212 EVO

Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16 GB RAM @ 1600 mhz x4

GPU: EVGA GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0 4GB

PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G1 750W

Hard Drive: 250GB Samsung 850 SSD

Afterburner Settings: http://imgur.com/BBUOLEc Afterburner Fan Curve http://imgur.com/mw9aQF7

Windows Reliability Monitor: http://imgur.com/6jLlnub

Technical Details: http://imgur.com/UB3BBYm

I did a fresh install on my GPU drivers, but the issue still persists, what could it be?

Hi,

Suspect to be a GPU hardware problem. You may want to have a stresstest for your GPU.

Try using Furmark.

Thanks.
