Hi!
I hope someone can help me with this.
When I downloaded ZoneAlarm from zonelabs.com and Ableton Live from ableton.com, and tried to install, my antivirus software told me there were Trojans in the program files. My antivirus program is AntiVir and after scanning my computer, only finding two more Trojans I scanned with with Panda, Kaspersky and Spybot. None of these softwares found any viruses but I still have the same problems with the program files, after deleting and downloading new ones.
I then ran HiJackThis and here is the log from that scan:

Hello Daniel Axel and welcome to the BC HijackThis forum. I see no signs of viruses or malware in the log. It is clean.

It sounds like AntiVir is giving false positives for ZoneAlarm and Ableton. This sometimes happens between various security applications. Just recently eTrust flagged a critical MS process as malware.

If AntiVir does not fix the issue then you basically have 2 options. Go with a different firewall or remove AntiVir and go with a different anti-virus.

For a different firewall see: Kerio Personal Firewall

For a different anti-virus see:
Avast Home Edition
or
AVG Anti-Virus

All of the above are free for home use.

Cheers.
