Cedar Point is awsome!

I know it's kind of sad, since I do live in Ohio, that I have never gone until just now, but let me just say, if you are looking for a vacation with some rollercoasters, Cedar Point is for you. :flowers:

If is host to so many world record breaking rides!

I got to go on Millennium Force, Magnum XL-200, Corkscrew, Disaster Transport, Mean Streak, and the Top Thrill Dragster! In addition, to: Demon Drop, Power Tower, Matterhorn, and maXair!

I never was much of a roller coaster person, but after CedarPoint, I am now.

Anyone else, ever been to Cedar Point? (if not, make your next vacation there! :inlove: )

Also you got to look at the statistics for the Top Thrill Dragster!

400 foot drop at 270 degress descent, with 120mph top speed.

My son absolotely loves that place! I can go on very few rides there due to a heart condition. What frustrates me is that I still have to pay full price and don't even get to ride and that place ain't cheap to get into!

Yea the prices aren't cheap, but it is worth going.

$39.99 for a day pass is kind of high, however if you have a pepsi can with the discount on there you can get $7 off. Which is how Erin, her mom, Stephannie, and I got in. Some guy was passing out pepsi cans in the parking lot on our way in.

Went there once about 5-6 years ago , TOP NOTCH ,all of it . was there on a holiday weekend and still never waited more than 20-25 minutes in line (waited in line 3 hrs for the "Beast" at Kings Island before) and by the way Kings Island sucks compared to Cedar Point, had a nice breeze all day off the lake unlike baking in the sun "elsewhere".

That's the nice thing about Cedar Point, the lines weren't that long at all. None of them were full, however we went on a Wednesday so not as many people were there. We didn't wait more than 30minutes for a ride.

Yano,
I agree that's an supper place to spend some time.

(I've edited your post to remove the commercial links.
Others can find their way there no doubt. )

I have a cousin that was a welder there and has a life time membership now.
He doesn't ride there as he is... afraid of the heights?...
But the family enjoys the place.

Yea. sorry about the links, I just wanted to link up to the statistics of the one ride!

Fear of heights is a problem as well. I guess I [i]use/[i] to be afraid of heights, but after Cedar Point I guess I am not. :flowers:

Also fear of speeds could be a problem too.

Yeah I wouldnt ride half the rides in that park. Way to fast and such for me. I like coasters and ride them all in my local parks but that 400ft drop is well too much for me.

I would be scared of half of them!

Also heard the lines are super long. I dont like long lines for 30 second ride.

Been there 3 times, but the last time was about 5 years ago. It was great them and I'm sure it has gotten nothing but better since.

If you like roller coasters, head on out to Sandusky!

I love cedar point we go there every year. It is the best! I have been on every ride and I love them all. The lines are very long (only 30 min max). the only ride that has a long wait is Top Thrill Dragster which I think is the fastest and tallest roller coaster in the world and I think that the line is worth it.
