Downloading problems

After reinstalling win 10 i started having d/l problems.  Click on a direct link d/l starts out fine then slowly gets slower & slower then stops.
any ideas whats wrong?

What browser are you using? I noticed from your previous post that you have Palemoon browser. Have you tried with Chrome or Edge?

 

Also, what does a speed test say?

 

Last, have you tried disabling NOD32 and Spybot S&D(specifically TeaTimer)?

If you go with Chrome, don't forget to download and install Chrome Download Unblocker [securityXploded] -- Chrome by itself "protects" the user by "[something]...security...[something]" blocking many many downloads, even some from BC, WindowsClub, Windows Secrets Lounge, and other web sites.
