Hi everyone,

I just installed WSUS on Server 2016 and doesnt seem like much of a difference from 2012 R2 in this relation, but  something is not right.  WSUS can only detect 2 out of the 140+ more PC's in our company.  GPO has been configured correctly, as far as i can tell.  If anyone could help me with this.  Just tell me what information i need to provide you to give me some help.

Much Appreciated

Roger

A few things you can do mate.

Reset the authorizationcookie and then do the other commands.

If you are admin run these 3 commands for each oc to make sure it works.

/node:Computername is the name of the PC

wmic /node:Computernam process call create "wuauclt /resetauthorization"

wmic /node:Computernam process call create "wuauclt /reportnow"

wmic /node:Computernam process call create "wuauclt /detectnow"

a command

wmic /node:Computernam process call create "gpupdate /force" should have applied this with a reboot though.

Give that 1 minute or so then check the Unknown computers in WSUS.

Let me know how that goes.
