I have no idea where to put this, so I put it here. If it's in the wrong place feel free to move.

My Acer cloudbook 14 keeps booting up and then booting back down, getting no further than the "acer" screen. (Logo)
I've tried the f1,f2,f3 thing and gotten no different results.

I've got no idea how to fix this. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

Edit: Moved topic from Windows 10 to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

Sorry for not seeing this sooner.  And thanks for posting in the "unanswered" topic.

Please start with these free, bootable diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/initdiag.html

Does the computer shut down when you turn it on, or does it just stop at the Acer screen and hang there (this'll determine if you can run the diagnostics or not).

If you can't run the diagnostics, then you can try posting in the Internal Hardware forums (

or you can bring it to a shop (as I suspect it's going to need taking apart - but I am NOT a hardware expert).

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Yes, it goes to the acer screen, hangs there for a little bit, then goes to a black backlit screen, then goes to a non backlit screen, and then restarts back up.

Can you get to the BIOS/UEFI?  To do this, try rapidly tapping the F2 or Del key as the system first starts up.

If you can't get into the BIOS/UEFI, then the Internal Hardware forum (or Acer support) is the place to start

If you can get there, then the only suggestion that I have is trying to force it to boot to an installation/recovery disk, then try to reinstall Windows from the disk.

Yes I can, and okay I'll try that and see if it works.
