Hey guys,  I need help.

My webcam isn't working and I am positive it is not the actual camera that is broken.

Product Name: HP Pavilion 17-f115dx

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

The webcam software is Cyberlink YouCam 5 and my operating system is Windows 8.1. I get this warning when I open YouCam:

"Warning: No webcam detected. Try plugging in a webcam to your computer now. If you are using an integrated camera, make sure its turned on".

I did some research and found the manual to my laptop: http://media.flixcar.com/f360cdn/HP-524343201-c04526702.pdf  and saw that my laptop has a HP TrueVision HD webcam.    I've tried several things like uninstalling and reinstalling YouCam 5, updating it's drivers, installing newer versions of YouCam.   Checked Imaging Devices, uninstalled, updated...

I would really appreciate any suggestion you can give me.   HELP.

Hey, thanks for the reply.

Yeah, I've tried option 4.    I'm willing to try anything else.
