Hi everyone. I'm going to explain what's going on, I'm really good with computers and Iv'e tried everything, but I don't know what to do anymore.

So here's what happened. A few days ago, my power randomly went off, we believe it was because to much stuff was plugged in, but we got it back on, a few minutes later it went back off, after turning my computer back on. After turning it back on the second time, I again booted my Computer up. I got a screen showing me Advanced Options, and that my computer didn't boot right, so I clicked repair. It was repairing but then it said something like Repair Failed. I figured something probably fried or ruined my Hard Drive, so I got another one and put it in my Computer........ The computer successfully booted up and I cheered. I had to update all my drivers, some not because my Computer automatically installs them, but it didn't install the Graphics Driver. So I went online to find a Driver Updater to automatically update it, the software couldn't find an update for my graphics card, so I tried another software, and then another one. None of them worked. So I decided to manually install the card on. It was successful and it now shows its at least reading the Card but there's only one problem. When I right click the desktop and go to Display Settings>Advance Display Settings>Display Adapter Properties, it says "Microsoft Basic Display Driver" and then the Monitor says "Generic PhP Monitor".

I knew this wasn't right so I went to the Device Manager to try and uninstall and then update the driver manually again, after that it still didn't work. So I right clicked and went to properties, and I noticed it said "No Drivers Are Installed For This Device". So I tried to update it, but it says that it already has the latest version, but how could this be?

My resolution is stuck at 1024 x 768. And I know it goes higher than this.

Please help me.

Try these 2 utilities to clean out all traces of the AMD drivers:

Then download and install a fresh copy of the latest AMD drivers for your system from the HP website (NOT the AMD website)

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
