I bought this SSD and it was DOA.

https://www.amazon.com/KingDian-Internal-Solid-Desktop-Laptop/dp/B018K3AV7A/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1478890531&sr=8-3&keywords=kingdian+ssd

So I ended up exchanging it for a PNY that has much better reviews. Does anyone have any experience with the KingDians? Lesson learned to research before buying, although I don't see much info around about the KingDians.

I've never heard of the brand myself.  Since you just bought it you should be able to return it.

Company Profile

I note that no statistics are provided re revenues, etc.  IMO, an unnecessary gamble when compared to the known makers of SSDs.
