When I scan with adwcleaner it brings up some things that I don't want to get rid of. (Like the ByteFence anti-malware that came with my computer and a couple of other programs from Lenovo that came with it) I don't want to have to search through everything and uncheck them every time. is there a way to mark them as exceptions?

If you suspect AdwCleaner of falsely detecting legitimate file(s) / folder(s)...please report it at the official Malwarebytes AdwCleaner Forum.

You can also ask the developers (fr33tux or cocochepeau) about whitelisting a legitimate program at the official Malwarebytes AdwCleaner Forum.

Hello,

Thank you quietman7 :)

@Bad-People, can you share the whole logfile? (usually from C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner[Sxx].txt) and the list of elements you would like to keep?

Thanks,
