Hello folks

My hard drive won't show up in the BIOS Menu. Also no OS will install on it. I've been trying to install Windows 10 (I had it installed before my computer crashed and I subsequently wiped my hard drive). The Hard drive shows up in the installer menu, however windows won't install (it throws up different errors, some not HDD related). I had Ubuntu 16.04 installed at one stage but it was practically unusable.

Does anybody know what I can do?

Knowing your computer's specs would be helpful.

Anyway, my first idea would be to connect the HDD to a different port on the motherboard, one with a different color maybe.
