I was reading a security article on the Emsisoft web site, and in one of the comments at the end of the article, a person made a statement about Windows 10-type telemetry (i.e., Microsoft "spyware") being incorporated in updates for Windows 7 and Windows 8. Is there any truth to this or is it just a conspiracy theory? If it is true, is there a way to disable it?
