Hi, my PC has previously been able to run games like Skyrim and Fallout 4 on Ultra settings without any problems, but all of a sudden it reccomends me to use low resolution and performs very badly. I have no other problems with the computer, other than these graphical problems. Any help and suggestions are appreciated.

These are my specs:

OS Version: Microsoft Windows 10 Home, 64 bit
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-4720HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz, Intel64 Family 6 Model 60 Stepping 3
Processor Count: 8
RAM: 16300 Mb
Graphics Card: Intel® HD Graphics 4600, 1024 Mb
Hard Drives: C: 117 GB (42 GB Free); D: 907 GB (741 GB Free);
Motherboard: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd., MS-1781
Antivirus: Windows Defender

These onboard graphics couldn't have run those games on Ultra. You either had a graphics and now you don't (someone took it?), or you plugged your monitor to the wrong port. If you have a dedicated graphics card, its port should be below the audio jacks.
