Hello everybody,

My pc got infected with a browsermodifier win32/suptab.

I think i know where i got it from.

I needed to use a site which i could only use in internet explorer. it uses a java based

(With the application i scan my insulin pump that keeps me alive and sent that info to the people at the hospital. Otherwise i never use internet explorer and never allow browsers to run plugins without my approval) But when i tried to acces the site it was slower than usual and when i was finally logged on, i tried to activate java but it just wouldnt work. and after that i got the message that dangerous software was found and that it was both in google chrome and internet explorer.

I'm kind of at a loss of what to do because it keeps renewing itself everytime i try to delete it with windows defender.

I think it is also trying to infect other items now because i got a message saying that it was also in FurMark_1.18.1.0_Setup, i installed that weeks ago and ran virus and malware scanners over it.

Kind regards,

Slowshootin

Hello nasdaq,

I fixed the problem myself this time :D.

I selected instead of remove infected, just remove. Then no notifications came anymore.

Ran avira virus scan, Malwarebytes scan and a adwcleaner scan trough the whole system. All came back clear and i don't have any trouble with the browser anymore.

You can close the thread if you want to.

Greetings,

Slowshooting

PS: Thank you for the second time Nasdaq (2 years ago or so you also helped me with another pc i couldn't fix myself).
