Sometimes when my laptop heats up the fan doesn't speed up just stays the same. If I sleep and then wake up my laptop then the fan starts to speed up and goes to max, and even after the temp is reduced to normal the fan stays at max speed.

My second issue which my be the solution of the first, is that I can't update my windows.

It's probably clogged up with dust bunnies. Get a can of air and blast the vents out. It can get bad enough that it has to be taken apart to clean it.

No it's not clogged up because I cleaned it like 2 months ago, and also when the fan "works" there is no overheating problem.

Download CPUID's HWMonitor to see the CPU temperature and voltage is.  Please post the results in your topic.

I fixed my update problem windows repair by tweeking.com and after that https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/968003 (don't know if windows repair app did anything about it)

For my fan control problem I'm just using CPU-Z, just leave it running in the background and the fan goes slowly up and down. (Might be that my graphics card sensor is broken)

Thank you for your help.
