I'm just wondering why I have a subscription with secure line when I only purchased a year subscription for avast premier. I never purchased secureline but when I check the license , it is someone else's name.  I am pretty sure there is something wrong as I already emailed avast support about it but they told my that I don't have a subscription on avast secureline. is it be possible that my Pc is infected with a virus? Thanks in advance!

OS: Windows 10

STeps taken:

Reinstalled Avast (the secureline license reappeared after a few days)

Avast SecureLine is a subscription based V}N (virtual private network) by avast! which secures connection to public Wi-Fi systems and helps to and anonymize your browsing. There is a standalone version and a version built-in into avast! Anti-virus.This subscription requires it's own license.

After purchasing SecureLine VPN an order confirmation e-mail with your license file attached is sent to the e-mail address entered in the purchase form.

Avast SecureLine VPN: Activation

It is possible there is an error or mix-up in their records.

You can call avast! support at 1-866-951-7679.

Thanks.. yeah i'd probably just call them. It's just weird that when I emailed them about this, they can't seem to figure out why I'm showing a license registered to some else but on their records I'm not a secureline subscriber.

Does sound like a mistake in their records. It's happened to me before with ESET.

You're welcome and good luck.
