I've had this computer for around 3 years, and this is a very recent issue.  As such, I doubt this is a compatibility issue between parts.  It's gotta be an out of date driver, hardware degradation, or software damage / malware issue.

My PC will crash with no bluescreen.  Sometimes sound will even continue to play normally for a few seconds after the crash.  It has been happening with obnoxious frequency, starting around two days ago.  In the past 15 ish hours alone it has crashed nearly 5 times.

My knowledge of computers is decent, but this issue is well beyond my ability to solve.  So...  Here I am.

I'm on the FAQ post right now, running all of those strange tests you guys asked me to do, the results of which I will attach to this post, if the problem is not solved in the process by some magic.

... K..

Scanned the things. and prepped the zips for upload  Instead of manually typing out all of my system info, I just took a Speccy Screenshot of my system info and attached it to this post.

I'd like to note that I haven't been able to clean the physical hardware in QUITE a long time due to not having any compressed air handy.  What's worse, I've NEVER been able to clean the processor because I have no thermal compound to apply after removing the heat sync.

Another interesting issue is that I use ESET Smart Security, and have been unable to perform any kind of virus scan.  Eset is up to date, but when I attempt a scan, every single file comes up as ether corrupt, or an "unsupported option."  I highly doubt .wav files are an unsupported option for such a big name security system.  Is it at all possible that some malware hijacked my security and is preventing scans from completing normally?  And if so, how would one go about fixing that?

(P.S.  I'd like to only reinstall windows as a last resort.  It is SUCH a pain in the rear to reinstall all the C++ and Java and .NET framework and all that assorted nonsense.)

I feel for you - multiple crashes per day are never fun - I've just had a painful fortnight tracing an issue down to a failing SATA cable which would go for days and then cause five failures in 2 hours.

The fact that you're not always getting a crashdump produced when you experience a hang makes it a little harder to nail down a problem driver but if you suspect that it might be some failing hardware, then you would do well to turn on the driver verifer (instructons are here ) and check it's status after you've had another BSOD and/or lock-up.

Only 294 Windows Update hotfixes installed.  Most systems with SP1 have 350-400 or more.  Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).
The actual number is not important.  Rather it's important that you checked manually, installed any available updates, and didn't experience any errors when checking or updating.

USB 3.0 drivers aren't installed.  Please visit the system manufacturers's support website for your model to download and install the latest, W7 compatible version.

You have some BSOD's listed in the WER section of the MSINFO32 report - but you have many, many, many, many (is that enough?) Live Kernel Events.

In cases like this, this is often a hardware problem.  Please start with these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

Please run ALL of the tests and let us know the results.

AMD OverDrive (AODDriver2.sys) is either a stand-alone application, or a component of the AMD VISION Engine Control Center.  This driver is known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems.

NOTE:  these symptoms were from the previous release of OverDrive.  The new release uses the same driver name, but is dated from 4 November 2013.

Please un-install all AMD/ATI video stuff from Control Panel...Programs...Un-install a program.
Please note that I stated "video stuff", as some integrated processors may have the graphics chip built in (which may involve the chipset software).
Then, download (but DO NOT install) a fresh copy of the ATI drivers from http://www.amd.com (in the upper right corner of the page)
Use this procedure to install the DRIVER ONLYhttp://www.sysnative.com/forums/showthread.php/668-ATI-video-cards-DRIVER-ONLY-installation-procedure

If the device (AODDriver or AODDriver4.01) remains a problem, open Device Manager, select the "View" item.
Then select "Show hidden devices" and scroll down to the Non-Plug and Play Drivers section.
Locate the AODDriver entry, right click on it and select "Un-install".  Reboot for changes to take affect.

Sometimes the entry will remain in Device Manager even though you've removed it.  So, open up Device Manager and check for the AODDriver4.2.0 (it may have another number).  Right click on it and select "Uninstall".  If it asks to remove software, put a check in the box.  Then click on OK.

Sometimes the driver remains and continues to cause BSOD's.  If this is the case for you, post back and we'll give further instructions for safely removing it.

If overclocking, please stop. Remove the overclock and return the system to stock/standard values while we're troubleshooting. Once the system is stable again, feel free to resume the overclocking.

The 2 recent memory dumps tend to support the theory that this is a hardware problem - but there are too few of them to make this a definite diagnostic statement.

As one of them refers to the file system driver (on your hard drive), I'd start with the hard drive diagnostics.

My friend did a scan of my RAM.  Came back with over 1000 errors on both sticks.  I replaced the ram, and the crashes have become much less frequent as a result, however it still crashes.  He also said that apparently my hard drive is making a noise it shouldn't be making. (a high pitched screech when the computer loads up, sometimes when doing file transfers.) I never noticed it.

I'm going to get a new SSD and Hard Drive, and completely reinstall windows and all of my needed drivers.  If that doesn't solve the problem, I will let you guys know.
