Recently been having a bit of trouble with my laptop. A couple weeks ago the entire backlight failed to work. I just shut her down and let her be for a while. I checked back in and it seemed as if nothing happened.

Today, however, while I was checking my phone I got the blue screen that said something about Bad poo header.

Help would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

(heads up, my replies may be a bit slow here and there. I work full time and sometimes don't get online every single night. I'll try to be to work on solving this but no promises)

Please run this report collecting tool so that we can provide a complete analysis: (from the pinned topic at the top of the forum)   http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/
FYI - I don't often use the Perfmon report, so if it doesn't work please just let me know.
NOTE:  On problem systems it can take up to 20 minutes for the log files to complete.  Please be patient and let it run.

If you still have problems with it running, there's an alternate tool here (direct download link):  https://github.com/blueelvis/BSOD-Inspector/releases/download/1.0.5/BSODInspector-1.0.5.exe

NOTE:
Please zip up the (.ZIP) files - do not use .RAR or other compression utilities.
.ZIP is the type file that can be uploaded to the forums.

FYI - don't worry about the delay.  I get notified by email when you reply - so I'll just wait for the email :0)

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

I find leaving it to rest for a couple days at a time usually does the (temporary) trick. Upon startup it said something about not being able to start, and I got taken to the recovery screen and it tried to make repairs for over 30 minutes, to no avail. After the restart though everything is up and running as usual. Not noticing any issues. The scan worked out fine and there's the attachment.

Fingers crossed I'll be able to do your next step in a more timely manor.

Sorry for the delay in responding.

First I was a bit behind, then I was traveling, then my debugger started acting up, then stuff at home and work added to things.

Well, you get the gist of it - sorry!

There's only 1 recent memory dump in the upload (from 27 Oct)

If still experiencing the BSOD's, I'd suggest uninstalling MalwareBytes in order to test it.

If that doesn't stop them, then I'd suggest running Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

Hello again! No worries in slow replies. I take just as long, if not longer in getting back. I haven't been on the laptop much recently, so I can't answer truthfully. I'll most likely be online today and tomorrow. If anything happens again I'll report back to here.  But so far things seem to be working okay.

Wish I could magically make the dark blob on the right hand side of the screen go away, but I fear that's gonna take replacing something internally.
