Hey Everyone,
My Windows PC has been affected multiple times with a adware program called "Ads by Counterflix", I have fought and won against it every single time. But, this time I ran ADWCleaner because it was recommended by many experts, it successfully removed the Adware, but on a reboot, I discovered my network adapter was not recognized and the audio service stopped running, Microsoft Security Client also refuses to start. This led me to discover that ADWCleaner accidentally deleted two of my drivers. When I try to restore through ADWCleaner, it opens a log file and it says "ERROR". Please HELP!

::EDIT::

I tried clicking "Select All" and then clicking restore, everything restored EXCEPT THE TWO DRIVERS!!!

You'll have to do a re-install of Microsoft Security Essentials to get that particular driver and program back online.

Network adapter -- I think Control Panel --> Device Manager --> go to the network adapter, uninstall; Restart, and give Windows time to "re-find" and reinstall the necessary driver[s] to get that device back online.

Concerning adwcleaner, I would recommend letting one of the BC malware techs walk you through unclicking some of the findings just before hitting the "do it" button.

Thank you Roland, but sadly I have tried it does not seem to fix the problem. I am currently installing a new version of the Intel Driver.

::EDIT::

The Intel driver didn't work but, I found out that the problem was that airplane mode was turned on, but I can't turn it off!

You can report the issue and ask the developers (fr33tux or cocochepeau) at the official Malwarebytes AdwCleaner Forum.

Can you do a system restore to just prior to infected/accidental driver removal?

ADWCleaner accidentally deleted two of my drivers. When I try to restore through ADWCleaner, it opens a log file and it says "ERROR".

This issue needs to be reported as I indicated above.
