Samsung Galaxy 6. I accidently deleted important text messages and need to recover them. Downloaded the android data recovery but when going through the listed steps after connecting the phone to computer the specified locations on the phone settings were not there.could someone walk me through the process? Thanks

Generally speaking, the deleted data were still saved on your phone, you can use an app to detect them and get them back on computer. And you should stop using your phone, in case the deleted data covered by new data.

Thanks all. This was from a couple months ago and from what I have been told once the app updates it is overwritten. Which it has a couple of times already. But these are handy to know for if it happens again!
