New laptop....only had for 2 weeks....went onto internet and got a screen that says YOUR COMPUTER HAS BEEN INFECTED WITH SPYWARE,ETC> AND IS SENDING CRITICAL INFORMAITON TO HACKERS, ETC. CALL THIS NUMBER AT MICROSOFT TO FIX THIS PROBLEM ON LINE. IF YOU CLOSE THIS WINDOW  YOUR COMPUTER WILL BE DISABLED. THEN IT SAYS ERROR 268B3.

 

All the above is displayed on screen and read aloud. Cant move off of anything, computer just locks on this screen.

 

This is a Lenovo ideapad, with Windows 10.

 

Help ....

This is fake. Your computer is just fine this is just their way of stealing our money.

Reboot your machine if you haven't done so. (Ctrl+alt+del and select reboot). It should go away after the reboot as it a fake scammer trying to get your money. DO NOT CALL THEM AND DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING.

Thanks for the help....you are correct...just another scam......I ran the malwarebytes programs...and it did find some ROOTKIT type infection..once I deleted this, it was fine....Again.....Bleeping to the rescue!!!!!
