Greetings & Salutations... "Your PC needs to be repaired" File: \Boot\BCD  Error code: 0x0000034  I do not have a bootable Windows 7 Ultimate disk.  http://speccy.piriform.com/results/tqePx3pjwwrajUd5tgQgWoi  Five years ago I hired the IT who worked for the company next door to format & load a new SATA II HD in my desktop. Partly because I didn't really want to hassle with it, but more than anything I wanted an advanced opinion on my 1st build from scratch He liked the build, said I chose the components well and I had. For what it is, it screamed. When he handed me my XP Pro disk back he told me he had installed Windows 7 Ultimate & I would like it much more and it'd never go bad... I had concerns immediately & no system disk. When the MS pop ups began I bought a Lenovo laptop & ran it till it cried. I went back to my machine and have endured the MS msgs & decomposition of Windows 7 I have no choice.  The severe issues began 2-3 moths ago when Google's Gmail went haywire and knocked me and hundreds of others around the Country out of commission. Google was no help whatsoever. They suggested going to the Dashboard for updates that never came & advised reinstalling Chrome. I never was contacted & told what it was. Took a Restore Point just to run right, the browser is still not quite right I don't believe, in spite of 2 additional re-installs. I located my 7 Ultimate papers yesterday & tried to re-activate my system last night. MS msg came with an Error Code 0x004E003  and advice to contact MSI by phone to help resolve the problem.
The BSOD: I have run the SysnativeFileCollectionApp, and was unable to get the Perfmon Health Report.
Error:

An error occured while attempting to generate the report. The Data Collector Set or one of its dependencies is already in use.
For security I use Microsoft Security Essentials, Advanced SystemCare 9, and up to 3 days ago: IObit Malware Fighter. Now using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Home.
I have run sfc /scannow a number of times recently and only became aware of the CBS.LOG after reviewing posts on this site. Mine is a mess.

These 5 make up the brunt of the long listings along with language listings. I am about to run AdwCleaner, JRT and have the MiniToolBox. I eagerly await to hear from a helping hand for guidance & direction.
Thank you again,

Thommmiz  p.s. The cbs log is zipped in OneDrive ready to go.

I'm having some trouble placing the folder... The Paste icon isn't working for me, neither is R click & paste. There is no paper clip at the bottom of the page to add a file either. Drag & drop? I tried the drag & drop, appeared to only open the file over your page.

"Here's how to attach this file to your post:
 -  If using Quick Reply, click the Go Advanced button under the Reply box." Quick Reply? What is/where is that? I don't see anything that say's that. Having a very bad day, dealing w/a death... I'm sorry.

Unfortunately it appears that the system has pirated software.
Please get a legitimate copy installed and we'll be glad to help.

Here's suggestions on how to ensure that your version is legitimate:  http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/genuine

Please be aware that we may not be able to fix it (as the hacks that were done to activate it will cause the OS to behave differently than we expect it to). If that's the case, our efforts to help may just waste your time. Secondly, the forum rules prohibit assisting with pirated software - so the topic would be closed if that is the case.

As a courtesy, I will offer an analysis of your issues using the reports you provided.
I will not answer any questions about the analysis until the system is made legitimate.
If you do make it legitimate, please submit a new set of reports for us to check.

Just FYI, sometimes the owner won't know about this.  So here's 2 scenarios that might ring a bell:
- if they had a "friend" help with the computer - and the "friend" installed a pirated copy.
- or they used a copy that they had from another OEM computer.  The OEM license is tied to the hardware that it came from - so you can't just use it on another system (that means that it's pirated).

And here's the analysis:

Although you appear to have a reasonable number of Windows Update hotfixes for this version of your OS, please double check for any new Windows Updates.  It only takes one update to cause a problem, so it's essential that you have all of them.  The actual number is not important.  Rather it's important that you checked manually, installed any available updates, and didn't experience any errors when checking or updating.

You have a 802.11n USB Wireless LAN Card:

I do not recommend using wireless USB network devices.
These wireless USB devices have many issues with Win7 and later systems - using older drivers with them is almost certain to cause a BSOD.
Should you want to keep using these devices, be sure to have the latest W7/8/8.1/10 drivers - DO NOT use older drivers!!!
An installable wireless PCI/PCIe card that's plugged into your motherboard is much more robust, reliable, and powerful.

Due to the large number of different errors in the WER section of the MSINFO32 report, I suspect a hardware problem.

Please run these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

If all of the diagnostics pass, then try this procedure to rule out the rest of the hardware:  http://www.carrona.org/strpdown.html

Thank you usasma for your assistance & analysis, as grim as it looks 1st glance, it isn't nearly as bad as some I see online. I need to read more about understanding crash & event reports. This is new territory for me and I've not had issues like this before. Activation isn't a dead-end yet so that's a plus, I'm trying the phone number for the IT that formatted & installed the HD, goes straight to VM, Wasted efforts more than likely, time passes... I have looked at unbuntu as a potential new OS, or down-grading to my XP Pro, I believe it may be installed as an OS & may have dual boot set up. I need to determine the hardware condition next, as per your advice -  if the HD, cpu or MB is damaged, all else is moot- aside from a valuable learning experience that I'd rather not be my reality. lol!  Before I forget: I have had trouble with  manual updates, some requiring 6 or more attempts.

I will post any progress worthy of note, negative or positive on this string. I understand the policy for assistance entirely. I'm embarrassed that it's a point I felt necessary to present as a possibility in my opening post. I will follow all recommendations but it might take more time than I'd prefer. Thank you again for the guidance, and I apologize for the delay of my reply.
