HELP! I'm currently infected by surf sidekick which is causing numerous issues outside of just popups. For example, my wireless hub and virus protection will disable at times forcing reinstalls. In addition memory is constantly running out.

I've attempted to go through the checklist prior to running a log but 2-3 minutes into running ad-aware (which I've reinstalled several times), the system gives a 1-minute warning prior to shutting down... Houston, we have a problem???

Hi DEG

I've split away your HJT log from this thread and moved it into the HJT forum.

Please be patient and wait for a response from an HJT tech.

Your log is now here.
The only easy day was yesterday.
