No it says:

Recovery

Your PC/device needs to be repaired

The boot configuration data for your PC is missing or contains errors.

File: \Boot\BCD
Error code 0xc000000f

You'll need to use recovery tools. If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or a usb device), contact your PC administrator or PC/device manufacturer.

Like I said the code originally ended in 14 but changed to f after i did the dism step in the previous post.
By the way is there a way I can post images on here, be a lot quicker?

Boot your computer with Windows 10 Setup DVD and from Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) open the Command Prompt and type Bootrec /RebuildBCD command and press Enter key. Restart your computer normally to check if Windows boot without the error message.

Don't have a DVD, used usb, is that OK?

Anyway it was successful and found 1 windows installation E: \Windows.

It asked to add installation to boot list, I typed yes and it said 'The requested system device cannot be found'.

You can export and delete the BCD store and then run this option again. By doing this, you make sure that the BCD store is completely rebuilt.

To do this, type the following commands at the Windows RE command prompt:

  • bcdedit /export C:\BCD_Backup
  • c:
  • cd boot
  • attrib bcd -s -h -r
  • ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old
  • bootrec /RebuildBcd

Do I put in E instead of C for the drive in each command?

I tried with both but after the first command I get the message 'The store export operation has failed. The requested system device cannot be found.'

First type C: then try bcdedit /export C:\BCD_Backup command. You can use Dir command to find out if BCD store file exist in any partition hard drive may have use dir command like this Dir /s /a C:\BCD replace the drive letter for each partition. You can found list of partition and there assign drive letter by executing below commands.

Diskpart

list disk

Select disk 0

list volumes

I did that, ran Dir command on E: and it came up with Directory of E:\$WINDOWS.~BT\boot. It then listed 13 files below this.
But not sure what I need to do now?

Execute Dir command for C:  and D: partition letters, you are looking for boot folder when you found this folder point Command Prompt to this "boot" folder drive letter for example if "boot" folder store at C: partition type C: and press Enter key and execute other commands to rebuild BCD store.

I searched all partitions, C and G have nothing. E I already tried, F came up with F:\AcerBoot\boot, F:\AcerBoot\EMI\Microsoft\boot, F:\boot and F:\EMI\microsoft\boot

I am guessing this is what I'm looking for?

Anyway, none of the commands worked except the rebuild at the end, it found the Windows installationn on E: again. When I typed 'y' to add it to the boot list, it said it can't be found.

A little more detail - For export command it said requested system device not found. For attrib command it said File not found - BCD. For ren command it said system cannot find the file specified.

You need to found BCD file which store in Boot folder in System Partition. The attrib and Export command not working because the BCD file cannot be found.

Have you follow my instruction at below link.
