How many beeps? How many "long" and "short" ones?

We need the make and model of this computer if it is a OEM computer.

If it is a custom build please post the make and model of the motherboard.

He already said it's Asus A8N-SLI, classic Nforce 4 SLI motherboard from Socket 939 era. I had Asus A8N-SLI Premium, very good board.

Didn't find AMI beep code for two long beeps.

Start with the bare essentials, unplug everything else including the hard drives/CD/DVD drives.  If on board video is available, use that and pull the Nvidia card.Start with just one RAM stick.  A long beep on start up in most cases says the first block of memory has failed.  Reseating and or repositioning of the memory sticks may reveal a bad socket or dirty connections.  All should be inspected for any apparent faults.
