I installed KB3102433 (.NET Framework 4.6.1 for W7 for x64) on 10/16/16.

Rather than install the five security updates to this .NET Framework, I wanted to uninstall KB3102433.  However, even though its listed in Update History, it is not found in Installed Updates (snips attached).

Also attached is snip from registry which I believe shows that 4.6.1 is installed.

What am I not seeing?  If it has been installed and there's registry keys, can't I uninstall that KB?

I will never touch/alter/delete the registry keys for any reason (that knowledge courtesy of BC).

Thank you.

Hi,

Did you check the list of installed programs for the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.1?

Yes.

A snip of "Installed Programs" is attached.  It does not show that KB3102433 was installed -- yet the Update History and the registry says it was.

Is there another place in WU to specifically look for .NET Framework updates?

The image show installed Updates not Programs from Programs and Features.

Good grief on my part.  I did not know it was a Program.  Ignorance is not bliss, it's just ignorance (an American saying).

Yes it is there--it says installed 2/12/15 and the version is 4.6.01055.

If I uninstall it at Programs & Features will it uninstall any updates I've done since 2/12/15?

On my machine I have Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.1 on the list.

I'm not sure if removing the "base" .NET Framework will remove the updates.
