Hello, can someone please help me? When I try to sleep my computer (Start, Sleep) it goes to sleep. But then after a few seconds, the loud fan comes on and the computer comes back on and it says "Resuming Windows". Then it goes back to my desktop or whatever I had open before trying to Sleep.

I reformatted my computer and it still does this.

I looked up some fixes and it said to make sure the ethernet adapter and mouse are Unchecked for "Allow this device to wake the computer". I did that, but I still have the same problem.

Can someone please help?

Let's try whether if we can see what last waked your computer. :)
:step1: Open the Start Menu and type in (without the quotes) "cmd"
:step2: Double-click cmd.exe.

:step3: Type in  powercfg -lastwake>%userprofile%\desktop\output.txt

:step4: A file called output.txt will appear on your desktop. Copy and paste the contents of it in your next reply.

If I do not reply in three days, please message me.
