Hi all,

My laptop has recently died and I would like to recover some important files from the hard drive. I understand that I need to buy a hard drive adaptor kit but am unsure which one to buy. I would be very grateful if someone could suggest one that would be compatible with my hard drive. The hard drive in question is a Seagate Momentus 5400.6 500GB - I have attached some pictures below.

Many thanks

I use one of these with good results. It can be used on both IDE and SATA drives, 2.5 and 3.5.

The above is an example. You may be able to find one locally.
