When I unplug my second monitor the fps in my first drop significantly

Help!

When i unplug my second monitor (Hp EliteDisplay E240) the fps in my primary display (Aoc U2879VF) drop dramatically and I know here are my pc specs if you need them:

 

Intel core i7 6700k

Palit gtx1060 dual

Gigabyte Z170X G1 gaming motherboard

Corsair RM 550 power supply

Corsair H55 hydro cooling

Creative sound blaster audigy fx

2tb WD Black 7200RPM HDD

4tb Seagate HDD

512gb Samsung NVme m.2 SSD

and so on
