 So am concerned with something.

Today after Nvidia updated itself, I restarted my laptop and it didn't go all the way through into Windows anymore. It just hangs on the circling dots. I had to do a force shut down by pressing the button long cuz nothing responded or I don't know any other way to restart it again.

It happened before to another Nvidia update, and that time my Nvidia Driver got wiped off my system probably becuz it wasn't able to finish install going through the restart.

It also happened with latest Windows 10 Update when it just hanged on the circling dots after restart.

Is this something happening with Windows 10 or am I infected ? Cuz I scanned for malwares and it returned no threats found.

 Thanks

Hello Thoth_Dhwty ,

You may have a "Hanging Program" that is prevent the system from shutting down properly.

Try Running Tweaking.Com's Simple System Tweaker .

  1. Uncheck All "Tweaks"
  2. Highlight General Tab
  3. Select "Speed Up Shutdown - Auto Kill Hung Programs"
  4. Select "Apply Tweaks"
  5. Reboot

EDIT: Grammer
