Hello Nene, and welcome to BC!

First....What is the reason that you want to enter Safe Mode? Safe Mode is a diagnostic tool that Microsoft included with Windows that can be used if there are certain problems. Are you having problems with your computer? If so, that may be one of the reasons that your Keyboard and Mouse are inactive in SM.

Second....do you have wireless or wired keyboard and mouse?

Third....is your computer on a network with other computers, or is it stand-alone?
