Hi, sorry bit of a newbie sorry.
I have an ASUS n73sv with i7 2630QM, 12g DDR3 1333 MHz SDRAM, Nvidia gforce GT 540M with 1GB DDR3 VRAM and I've just been given a Philips BDM3270QP runing at 2560x1080.
Would that work or will I need to get an external graphics card?
No gaming, only desktop and video watching.
Thanks in advance

That should work.

Just buy a HDMI cable to connect the two.

I looked them both up and they both have HDMI ports.
